Within the Paris-based Publicis Groupe holding company, Publicis Worldwide is the largest global agency network with over 9,000 employees in more than 80 countries across 200+ offices. New York-based Publicis Kaplan Thaler is the flagship office of the North America network, which includes Riney in San Francisco, and Publicis and Publicis Modem offices in Toronto, Montreal, Seattle, Dallas, Indianapolis, Boise, Calgary and Windsor.
Publicis was founded in Paris in 1926 by Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet. Fueled by Marcel's ambition, innovations and challenger spirit, Publicis has grown to be one of the most dynamic and progressive communications companies in the world.
“Lead the Change” is our mantra and is at the heart of our purpose. The one constant in this world is change. You can either adapt to change, ignore it or lead it. We believe in helping our clients lead the change. Change that helps them redefine the landscape and leap ahead of the competition, not just keep pace. Change that keeps pace with the speed at which technology impacts how consumers engage and interact with brands and each other. Change that helps them become part of the public consciousness and creates a movement of passionate advocates.
Publicis did not develop as a TV-dominated agency. With our origins in France, we needed to learn how to build brands holistically. The Publicis DNA has always been holistic versus channel driven.
Our longstanding mantra was “La Holistic Difference,” which is still at our core. The new expression of this is in how we have led the change by making digital intrinsic to all we do across Publicis. It is not seen as a separate discipline or channel. It is how people live and work today and is fundamental to how we approach all of what we do.
