Zoe was born in Bulgaria and has spent seemingly every free moment of her life writing, drawing, scrapbooking, journaling, or keeping a record of her thoughts in some form. This was partly the reason she pursued journalism as her undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University, where she got to learn the ropes of the vast multimedia world. 

Long-form writing, however, stayed at the top of her priorities, while her interest in current affairs and politics grew. She moved on to a master’s degree in international relations at Durham University, right after which she joined Little Black Book in 2021. Right now, Zoe’s main focus as Europe reporter is to take care of the production scene in the UK. 

When she’s not writing articles way over the word count or interviewing the best directors and producers of the industry, Zoe’s busy memorising the zodiac signs of the entire LBB crew.
