Festive campaign elevates festive moments across the UK with pop ups, digital displays and a continued Winter Wonderland partnership

As the UK ushers in another jolly holiday season, Pepsi MAX is bringing the Christmas magic through unforgettable celebrations across the nation. The brand’s newest campaign, ‘Christmas is Better With Pepsi MAX’, showcases how the irresistible taste of Pepsi MAX makes Christmas more enjoyable. Through an array of activations and partnerships, Pepsi MAX offers complimentary gift wrapping, photo moments and exciting social media content for consumers nationwide. The launch is supported by a comprehensive OOH campaign and wider experiential marketing activity, taking place from now until the end of December. 

‘Christmas is Better With Pepsi MAX’ kicked off with at the launch of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, where the brand has once again taken over the much-loved fire pit, where, alongside bespoke Pepsi MAX cocktails at the open-air bar, visitors can enjoy live bands and live entertainment.

Alongside the residency at Winter Wonderland, Pepsi MAX is traveling the UK to make Christmas tasks easier this season, providing more time for shared moments with family and friends. Complimentary Pepsi MAX Gift Wrapping Stations will be featured across London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Edinburgh and Newcastle, providing shoppers with a moment of reprieve. On top of the professional wrapping service, personalised photo gift tags will give gifts a unique touch, while Pepsi MAX-wrapped taxis will rush patrons from Christmas parties to family dinners all across the nation. No festive season is ever complete without decorations, a striking Christmas tree installation made better with Pepsi MAX and will provide a focal point for passersby to capture an iconic London Christmas moment in Seven Dials.

For the first time, the Pepsi MAX Sock Exchange will take place in Birmingham on December 7th, offering the opportunity to swap out the dreaded stocking-filler sock present for a gift you actually want, all in the name of charity. Well-known talent and influencers will pop-up at the activation, surprising guests by serving them throughout the day, while Pepsi MAX has pledged to donate funds to a local charity, brining support to those who need it throughout the Christmas period. 

Parallel to this array of winter activations, a brilliant new radio and digital advertising, and OOH including magical snowing billboards and a partnership with the London Underground will pop up across the UK. The new campaign revolves around celebrating the quirky, amusing, and sometimes awkward moments that are all too familiar during the holiday season. Encompassing everything from your grandma's inquisitive questions about your romantic life to playing Mariah Carey's tunes on a loop and the annual gathering with the eccentric cousin, the campaign focuses those shared festive experiences with loved ones.

With tongue-in-cheek, bold creative, the brand appeals to the masses and forms a new connection with Pepsi MAX at Christmas-time. The ‘Christmas is Better With Pepsi MAX’ campaign is live now and running until 31st December 2023.
