To bring this newly found pairing to life, Frank’s has released a cheeky 90-second video showcasing Danny in his latest role. Set in a quintessential East-End chip shop, viewers witness Dyer rock up to his local chippy to order his usual: a large cod, chips and, of course, mushy peas. But when the owner asks if he’d like salt and vinegar (and even the dreaded word… ketchup!) Danny dramatically swipes the condiments off the counter and firmly slaps down a bottle of Frank’s RedHot sauce, showing he ain’t messing around and is ready to kick things up a notch. As Dyer begins drizzling the sauce over his cod, chips and even the mushy peas, the chippy owner grabs the bottle and pours it straight into the batter mix, creating a crispy masterpiece packed with a bold blend of flavour and spice. Dyer tucks right into the Frank’s RedHot fish and marvels at the taste – before proudly declaring it ‘Codfather Approved’.
