Wunderman Thompson Appoints Maree Prendergast as Global Chief Talent Officer

WPP agency Wunderman Thompson announced today that it has appointed Maree Prendergast as global chief talent officer, effective March 25th. Maree will report to global CEO Mel Edwards and be based in New York.

As global chief talent officer, Maree will be responsible for talent strategy and execution in support of the new company offering focused on creativity, data and technology built to inspire growth for its clients. Working closely with the senior leadership team, Maree will help drive the new agency culture and key behaviours within the organisation.

Maree brings 20 years of experience and leadership in talent strategy and management, human resources, human capital consulting, executive recruitment strategy, succession planning, and organisational design and development. Prior to joining Wunderman Thompson, Maree was the chief talent officer at Publicis.Sapient, where she was responsible for the talent function globally. She has also served as chief talent officer for Publicis One and chief talent officer, North America for MSLGROUP.
