In celebration of Whole Earth’s partnership with Team GB, peanut butter brand took over the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Londoners got the ultimate wake-up call this morning, as Whole Earth peanut butter and Olympic gold medallists Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny, hosted an exhilarating cycle-along breakfast event. Set in the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the exclusive event celebrated Whole Earth's continued partnership with Team GB in the lead up to an epic summer of sport, showcasing how exercise coupled with a nutritiously delicious breakfast, can help fuel everyday greatness as part of the brand’s Goodness behind the Greatness campaign.

Cyclists of all levels joined the Kenny’s bright and early Wednesday morning for a unique ride through the park, receiving tips and tricks from the pros along the way. The location holds the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as gold medal-winning memories for the two Olympians. After the ride, fans were treated to a tasty and nutritious peanut butter-inspired breakfast - the perfect way to refuel and start the day, giving everyone the energy they need for everyday greatness both on and off the bike.

Laura and Jason Kenny’s sporting journey shows true dedication, perseverance, and excellence, fuelled by the goodness of a natural and wholesome lifestyle. The ‘Great Start’ event is a celebration of Whole Earth’s mission to inspire the nation to start their day with greatness, by bringing fans and athletes together for a wholesome, natural and delicious breakfast cycle-along.

Team GB Cyclists, Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny commented, “Being part of the Great Start breakfast cycle this morning was so much fun! It was great to see so many individuals come together to start their day in a healthy and active way. Whole Earth peanut butter has been a staple in our lives for years, even when we were in training for the Olympics, we were never without it – not just because it’s delicious, but also because peanut butter has so many nutritional benefits. As we gear up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, events like this morning’s serve as an important reminder of the role that wholesome foods and fitness play in achieving our goals and unlocking our full potential”

Participants left the event energised and inspired, ready to take on their day and excited for the summer of sport ahead. The cycling route, expertly led by Laura and Jason, offered an engaging journey through the iconic landmarks of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which left a lasting impression on fans. The festive atmosphere, filled with cheers and camaraderie, set the stage for an unforgettable summer of sporting excellence.

Marketing controller, Nicola Turner from Whole Earth, added, "As we ready ourselves for an unforgettable summer of sport, we're thrilled to have hosted this event with Dame Laura and Sir Jason Kenny and to witness people rallying around a healthy and active lifestyle. This is our second summer Olympics in partnership with Team GB and we’re committed to providing wholesome, natural goodness, and so excited to be supporting athletes on their journey to greatness.
