Whalar Group, the global Creator company on a mission to liberate the creative voice with a unique end-to-end Creator ecosystem, announced today the acquisition of management company Sixteenth. This strategic partnership merges the expertise of both Sixteenth and Whalar Talent, combining forces under the name Sixteenth to establish one of the leading global 360° Creator talent management companies.
This is more than an acquisition—it's a transformative shift in how Creator careers are built, managed, and scaled. The evolved Sixteenth will champion a purpose-driven approach, unlocking unparalleled opportunities for Creators and fueling long-term success through meaningful, authentic partnerships with the world’s leading brands.
Sixteenth was founded in 2017 to help Creators go beyond “15 minutes of fame” and beyond the expected. Over the past eight years, Sixteenth has built a formidable reputation for empowering Creators to turn influence into cultural longevity. Now by joining forces with Whalar Talent, this acquisition cements Sixteenth’s position at the forefront of global Creator management, setting a new standard for the Creator Economy.
Danny Lowney, founder, Sixteenth, said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled for this partnership to come to life. Sixteenth’s ethos is built on top of the idea of extending Creators past their ‘15 minutes of fame’, as a nod to Andy Warhol’s famous quote. This move feels like we’re giving our whole company - both our incredible team and our Creators - our own version of going beyond 15 minutes, writing our next chapter. This cements our position on the global stage and bolsters our own longevity as a company.”
Sixteenth will help build sustainable, Creator-led businesses that allow talent the freedom to grow their platforms, content, and entrepreneurial ventures in a faster and more organised way – letting them focus on what they do best: create and build.
To lead this new company, Victoria Bachan, currently president of Whalar Talent, has been appointed President of Sixteenth and will continue to report to James Street, Co-CEO and Co-Founder, of Whalar Group. As president of Sixteenth, Victoria oversees 44 managers across the US and EMEA, representing over 300 diverse Creators across various verticals, including notable names like Ali Abdaal, Doug the Pug, Jesus Nalgas, Unjaded Jade, Eleanor Neale, Ashley Alexander, Emmanuel Duverneau, Grace Wells, Joe Ando-Hirsh, and more. She will also spearhead the company’s future expansion initiatives. Sixteenth Founder Danny Lowney will stay on through the integration period, ensuring continuity and that the transition is optimised for both teams and the entire roster. After that, Danny will step into an advisory role to Sixteenth while working on a new offering within Sixteenth. Sixteenth’s executive team includes Fan Jozsa as COO, Amron Lopez as US director of talent, and Kiera Pérez as UK director of talent, who will work closely with Victoria to manage day-to-day operations, drive team growth, and expand the talent roster.
In her newly appointed role, Victoria Bachan, president, Sixteenth, said, “By joining forces, Sixteenth is poised to elevate its mission to unprecedented heights and truly shape the future of the Creator Economy. I couldn’t be more excited to lead this next chapter—our partnership is built on deep, organic relationships, a relentless pursuit of excellence, and an unwavering commitment to being a transformative force in this industry. Together, we’re not just helping Creators amplify their voices—we’re empowering them to expand their influence, maximise their impact, and build careers that go well beyond.”
As part of Whalar Group, Sixteenth now has access to a larger, comprehensive ecosystem. The partnership will empower Creators with an end-to-end support system that includes career development, community engagement, educational tools, and data-driven insights—equipping Creators to thrive in the ever-evolving digital space.
