UNIT, the independently owned creative post production house based in Fitzrovia London, proudly announces the appointment of Phil Delaney to the position of executive producer joining the ever expanding production team as part of the new era Studio launch. 

With an illustrious career spanning 15 years, Phil brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the expanding studio joining from Smoke & Mirrors. Having honed his craft over the years working at various high end VFX houses, Phil has built up an impressive client base with clients returning again and again to work with him. Phil has an exceptional ability to manage projects of varying scales with meticulous attention to detail, always delivering outstanding results . This has enabled Phil to work with some of the very finest production companies in the industry. 

Phil possesses a remarkable knack for fostering and nurturing client relationships. Whether cultivating new partnerships or strengthening existing ones, Phil excels in understanding client needs and delivering tailor-made solutions that exceed expectations. Some of Phil’s clients include big brands such as Sony, Heinken, UEFA, DHL, Unilever and P&G. Also collaborating with agencies such Dentsu, Mother, AMV, WearePi and Wasserman. 

Prior to joining UNIT, Phil held senior roles at renowned post-production houses, including The Mill and Smoke & Mirrors. Phil’s journey began at The Mill, where he worked for two years moving from runner to media resource manager learning all about the craft and building a passion for the industry and the work he got to produce. In 2010 Phil transitioned to Tag where he honed his skill for producing, moving from production assistant to versioning producer. 

Phil’s most recent role was executive producer at Smoke & Mirrors, where he remained for 11 years further advancing his skills as a producer building up an impressive client base and leading many notable projects before moving into the role of executive producer - where he continued until moving to the Amsterdam branch at which he stayed six years. 

His standout recent creative projects include: A full CG / Simulation for Rexona / Unilever and AMV, all of the fenstill CG Character animation for Mozzy Creams, and a campaign for Halfords in which he created four simulated weather elements in CG to roll out on all media types from OOH / DOOH - Digital TV. 

Phil is a well known industry character with an infectious personality who is hugely liked by clients and team alike. In his new role Phil will further grow key client accounts, welcome important brands and clients into the new Margaret Street UNIT Studio to guarantee that a full service offering can be delivered on all future projects.
