Radio LBB: Arni's Earcandy
Dark Energy director Arni Thor Jonsson is known as much for his passion for music as his award-winning directing. In Iceland, where he is co-owner of Republik Film Productions, he was previously an influential radio DJ, music journalist and bassist in a garage band. He still pens a music blog to this day.
He notes: "This playlist is diverse. I am a sucker for all kinds of music as long as it has an emotional impact, whether from my childhood, recent discoveries or anything in-between! Many of them are, for me, very visual pieces of music that I listen to when pondering over projects. In short, they’re all really great pieces of music."
