Nike has launched a new campaign designed to inspire people across Europe, regardless of their athletic ability, to put on their trainers and run.
The new Pan-European campaign promotes the launch of the sportswear brand's new 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon Training Plans on the Nike Run Club app. Working in partnership with tech-powered production company Untold Fable, Nike released a series of localised video trailers, social content, photography, and audio guides for runners across Berlin, Barcelona, Paris and Milan.
Designed to be accessible to everyone, the plans offer training tips, in-the-moment coaching, and motivational support from Nike coaches and athletes. The campaign also provides insights into mindset, nutrition and recovery for a more holistic approach, featuring more than 20 weeks of training plans and over 100 Audio Guided Runs in local languages to help runners of all levels prepare for their races.
Untold Fable, which has worked with Nike on several projects over the last four years, leveraged its global production network of over 5,000 filmmakers worldwide, partnering with top talent in each country to create bespoke content that authentically reflected each city’s running culture while maintaining Nike’s signature production values.
Untold Fable’s Ben Londesbrough, who led production on the campaign, said, “By working with regional directors, crews, and creatives who live and breathe the culture of their cities, we ensured each piece of content felt genuinely local, not just translated. This hyper-local approach was seamlessly coupled with our deep understanding of Nike’s app ecosystems, brand tone, and creative standards.
“The result was a series of culturally resonant, on-brand assets that maintained Nike’s global identity while celebrating the individuality of each community. Our global model not only guarantees high production values, but also empowers local voices to tell their stories their way which ensures relevance, relatability and reach.”
The Nike Run Club app is a free platform designed to support runners of all abilities. It offers a range of resources, including training plans, guided runs, a community forum, and tools to track and improve running performance.
