Nexus Studios Signs WERE, a New Dynamic Director Collective, to Its Commercial Roster

Nexus Studios has announced the addition of WERE to its esteemed director roster. Composed of Alice Isaac, Charles Bigeast, and Ewen Stenhouse, WERE brings a wealth of experience and a distinctive style rooted in cutting-edge 2D animation.
Prior to forming WERE, Charles and Ewen held pivotal roles at Golden Wolf. Their collective vision, now realised through WERE, represents a culmination of years of industry expertise and a commitment to delivering bold and dynamic creative content.

With accolades including Best Music Video wins, Motion Awards, British Animation Awards, and a Daytime Emmy nomination, Alice, Charles and Ewen formed WERE to cement their commitment to delivering bold and dynamic creative content. Their work, characterised by an irreverent and adult-oriented approach, has graced screens for renowned brands such as Netflix, KFC, and cult programming slot, Adult Swim, alongside promos for Riyadh Season and ITV's Rugby World Cup.

As part of Nexus Studios, WERE will continue to create groundbreaking work across games, commercials, branded content, and entertainment, reinforcing Nexus Studios' commitment to fostering creative excellence and pushing the boundaries of creativity.
