McCann London Names Emiliano De Pietri Chief Creative Officer

McCann has announced the appointment of Emiliano De Pietri as chief creative officer, McCann London, bringing a powerhouse of international expertise and creative leadership to the award-winning agency. This follows the departure of Lynsey Atkin who joined the agency last year.

Emiliano, a multi-award-winning creative leader, will spearhead McCann London's creative vision, working closely with the agency's teams across creative, production, strategy, and business. He will report directly to Javier Campopiano, chief creative officer, McCann & McCann Worldgroup and join the agency in mid-February

This will be an expansion of his current remit as global creative partner, global brands, McCann Worldgroup, during which time he played a key role in the network’s recent global wins for IKEA and Peroni. Prior to that he was chief creative officer for McCann Spain, where he worked on such globally recognised campaigns as 'Trapped in the 90s' (IKEA), 'Live Insurance' (MAPFRE), 'Do Try this at Home' (IKEA global campaign), and 'The Christmas Dilemma' (Iberia).

Emiliano is uniquely qualified to drive creative excellence for brands with operations across multiple markets, having led creative teams across LATAM, North America, and Europe (where he was based out of London) during an eight year-tenure at Grey. A Grand Prix winner and Glass Lion recipient, his work has been recognised by all major awards shows. He is the recipient of 50+ Lions, in addition to multiple awards from D&AD and the One Show.

These appointments are the latest in a series designed to drive growth and fuel creativity across the network.
