London International Awards announces the 2023 Jury Presidents and Jurors for the Music & Sound and Radio & Audio competitions.

Barbara Levy, LIA President commented: “Our mission is to award the best and most innovative creative ideas that surface each year. This is why we assemble the most celebrated and award-winning industry experts from across the globe for our juries. The jurors for Music & Sound and Radio & Audio are the best in their craft, and I’m sure this year’s Winners will reflect that.”

The juries will gather on-site in Las Vegas to view every piece of work in their respective Categories. LIA has no pre-judging. This ensures all work will be judged equally without bias, through insightful and robust discussions.

Joel Simon, CEO and chief creative officer of JSM Music will lead the Music & Sound jury. This jury will look for creative excellence and outstanding craftsmanship in the curating, mixing, producing or adapting music and sound for campaigns and brands, across different media and platforms.

On chairing the Music & Sound jury, Joel stated: “It is a total honour for me to be chosen as Music & Sound Jury President. Unlike all other industry shows & events, LIA stands out. As much as it is high end, perfectly orchestrated, showcases the best international work and features some of the most incredible, talented and passionate creatives, it truly feels like a family. It’s like a camp, but in Vegas. Vegas Creative Camp, Created for Creatives. LIA creates and fosters such strong relationships for all who attend for years and years to come.”

Oriel Davis-Lyons, chief creative officer at Mother New York used to be a chef. But, after tiring of the long hours and intense pressure he got into advertising. This October he will be back to long hours in the judging room as he leads the Radio & Audio jury. They will work diligently to award the most creative audio-centric content.

Oriel stated: “It’s a great honour to chair the Radio & Audio category at the 2023 LIA awards. Every year, we see more creative and innovative ways to use audio mediums, but it will always be a category where insight, craft and originality can truly shine. And I'm looking forward to hearing some great work and reconnecting with the inspiring, international community the awards bring together.”
