Amplify, the global creative agency that specialises in experience, entertainment and culture, has appointed Jennie Mossman into the newly created role of head of responsibility and Impact.
This year Jennie co-authored Amplify's Responsibility Policy and has been a key internal and external voice, giving guidance on business operations and client projects including Bloomberg, Google, Revolut and Sky. She will be reporting to Lee Avery, chief operating officer, and Dan Minty, chief strategy officer. Amplify’s evolution from sustainability to responsibility reflects the agency’s belief that sustainability goes beyond environmental efforts and the often restrictive, abstract connotations, instead encompassing a more holistic approach across people and culture and its focus on adopting considered, conscious decision-making to make more responsible choices.
Having over 10 years of history with Amplify, Jennie first worked for the agency from 2013 to 2017 as an account executive, before becoming an account manager and then senior account manager. After brief stints at Sunshine and Bompas & Parr, Jennie returned to the agency in 2018 with a passion for operations and sustainability and after becoming Sustainability Lead in 2021 she began steering Amplify’s sustainability offering and application to become B Corp certified.
Jennie led the charge in achieving B Corp Certification for Amplify’s global business which was obtained late last year, working in collaboration with Lee Avery, chief operating officer; Alex Smith, head of operations, and Stacey Stollery, people and culture director, Jennie is involved across Amplify’s accounts globally, working to ensure the agency is partnering with clients that align with its values as a business and sharing knowledge. She will also focus on mitigation, measurement, and reporting for clients and Amplify business operations globally.
Jennie said, "We are B Corp Certified but for us, it was never about the badge, Instead we see it as another step on the journey rather than the conclusion. I’m looking forward to continuing to implement change as part of Amplify's wider business operations: working more with all our offices in Paris, LA, New York and Sydney and our gen z specialist agency Seed to guide our overall responsibility strategy and positioning, celebrating achievements but also prioritising transparency and honesty to help us learn as an agency and wider industry.”
Dan Minty added, “Jennie has enabled Amplify to gain a clearer understanding of our global operations from a sustainability and responsibility perspective. In her new role as global head of responsibility and impact, Jennie will be able to better support the business globally and reiterate our commitment as an agency to continually learning and progressing. As an agency, we're very pleased to see long-standing employees continue to develop and progress within the business and we're looking forward to Jennie continuing to work across a wide range of client projects and business initiatives across our global offices.”
