James Strong Wins BAFTA for Broadchurch

Dark Energy Films director James Strong has been awarded a BAFTA for his work on Broadchurch, not only winning Best Drama but also Best Actress,  Olivia Coleman, Best Supporting Actor, David Bradley.

James's latest three part drama, 'From There to Here', topped the ratings outside of the UK soap operas with with its opening on on Thursday 22nd (9-10pm) raking in 4.5 million viewers.

The Guardian newspaper wrote: “Tune in next week if you want to find out who survived and who got splattered. But only if you like rich, confident, subtle, beautifully-written drama in which characters speak and act and crack jokes in bad situations just like real people do while it pursues the larger questions of what fate means, where hope goes and whether anyone – let alone football fans – has free will.”
