After a wonderful nine years at 62 Dean Street, under the tenancy of Sir John Hegarty and the Garage Soho, LBB has officially grown too big for its London home. As of the 1st November 2024, Little Black Book’s global HQ will be moving to 66 Old Compton Street.
The move marks somewhat of a homecoming for LBB - the business
actually rented space at 66 Old Compton Street when it had only five employees. Today, the business currently has 40+ team members working across Vancouver, Toronto, Berlin, Sydney and London. Over the past two years LBB has doubled in size, most recently supercharging its APAC team, welcoming managing editor AUNZ, Brittney Rigby, AUNZ reporters, Tom Loudon and Casey Martin, and welcoming back Sunna Coleman as Asia reporter.
The team is set to grow further in 2025, where LBB plans to continue expansion of its editorial team in North America and EMEA whilst also bolstering its publishing team, marketing department and sales departments.
Little Black Book’s founder and CEO, Matt Cooper, says, “It’s a bittersweet moment. We will miss being around John and our friends at 62 but the LBB team is constantly growing and we want to be together more. This new space means we can and we are only 80 yards from the old office. It’s great that LBB is still showing the same growth pattern. Plans for this coming year are huge and I know we will move faster together.”
Phoebe Siggins, chief operating officer at Little Black Book, adds, “It feels so special to be returning to 66 Old Compton Street as a business more than quadruple the size of what it was when we left. We’ve had a lot of fun at 62 Dean Street but with more expansion planned across next year we knew we needed a space for our various teams to collaborate in person as well as remotely. I truly believe that having time to work together in person is not just valuable for our business but for our people.”
