The Creative Circle has announced HONNE as the headline act at this year’s Creative Circle Ball.
HONNE - a Japanese word meaning ‘True Feelings’ - are a British electronic-soul band, fronted by long-term friends Andy and James. The electronic act create a soulful and intimate blend of nocturnal R&B, brought to life by lead singer Andy’s dulcet vocals.
Their breakthrough single Warm on a Cold Night reached #1 on blog aggregator Hype Machine, and they’ve gained huge support from BBC Radio1, 6Music, and 1Xtra. Their recent EP Gone Are the Days was featured on Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust playlist for three weeks in a row.
The new single Someone That Loves You was premiered by Annie Mac as her Hottest Record on Radio 1 and features songstress of the moment Izzy Bizu. Like their previous single, Someone That Loves You also topped the Hype Machine chart.
Having recently played a sold out show at esteemed London venue Electric Brixton as well selling out their debut US tour, the boys are currently finishing recording their debut album which is to be released in the Summer. Expect a mountain of critical acclaim to build around this talented twosome.
