Director Kyle Lewis Signs to Black Dog UK
Award-winning director Kyle Lewis has signed to Black Dog UK for music video and branded content representation.
Having made his name as one of South Africa’s most acclaimed music video directors, Kyle Lewis has transitioned seamlessly into brand films, where his instinct and flair for African youth culture has been in demand with everyone from Absolute to Nike to Volkswagen.
Kyle’s boundary-pushing work with the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, Nasty C and Ricky Rick has racked up millions of views on YouTube and made him a household name in the South African music video scene.
He has been nominated for Best Music Video at the South African Music Awards three years running, winning in 2014. Kyle also won a Silver Loerie in 2016 – the highest accolade awarded for a music video that year.
In 2016, Kyle directed half of the Best Music Video nominees at the South African Hip Hop Awards; and was nominated for a MTV Africa Music Award. In 2017, Kyle was nominated for a Metro FM Award.
