Dentsu Group Inc. has announced that it has appointed Giulio Malegori as chairman and acting CEO, dentsu Americas, overseeing the integrated growth strategy and business execution for dentsu within the Americas region, effective immediately. Giulio will continue to serve concurrently as EVP, global chief operating officer.
Joining dentsu in 2010, Giulio has held various leadership roles across the organisation, including both market and regional level CEO positions. In 2023, he was promoted to global COO and has since been responsible for overseeing the operations of dentsu globally.

Giulio will work closely with the talented senior leadership group across the Americas that includes: Jeff Greenspoon, chief business officer, Americas and global practice president - integrated solutions, dentsu; Sean Reardon, CEO, Americas media practice; Abbey Klassen global brand president, Dentsu creative and CEO, Dentsu Creative US; Pete Stein, global practice president - CXM and president Merkle Americas; Shirli Zelcer, chief data and technology officer, dentsu; Stephen Kiely, CEO, Tag Americas; Patrick Hounsell, CEO, dentsu Canada; and Juan Pedro McCormack, CEO dentsu LATAM.
