Conero Film + Adv (CFA) Opens Film Submissions Celebrating Sustainable Advertising Storytelling

The Local Bizzarro collective has just announced the submissions opening for the first edition of the Conero Film + Adv, a festival dedicated to sustainable storytelling in the commercial field. The event will take place September 1st-3rd in the Italian Conero Regional Park. Supported by an international jury of producers, journalists and festival programmers, the Marche-based collective will select commercial projects with a maximum duration of 15 minutes.

The Conero Film + Adv promotes a new idea of sustainability which, in addition to recognising our role in preserving the environment, also looks at human nature as something to highlight though filmmaking within the advertising industry. The festival encourages collaborations between brands and filmmakers, with a particular emphasis on storytelling rather than product information, thus contributing to a more ethical economy using cinematic art as a means to inspire positive change.

The festival will select commercial works of hybrid and experimental nature, across various genres of cinema, from fiction to documentary to animation, but always with a strong vision behind the camera. In addition to commercial collaborations, Conero Film + Adv encourages the participation of independent personal projects that offer interesting perspectives on environmental and human issues.

Filmmakers, agencies, and production companies from around the world are invited to submit their works. Submissions can be made through filmfreeway where detailed guidelines and further information about the event can be found. Deadline: July 23rd, 2023.
