Animation Wizards Rowdy Bring Magic Storytelling to Lemonade Reps Roster

Born from a background of first class animators with a rich heritage, the London based production company Rowdy will be joining the Lemonade Reps animation roster, bringing colour and imagination to the table. Rowdy are a group of friends, technicians, problem solvers and artists who all share the same passion... storytelling. Specialists in character led stop frame animation, their work runs from screen popping visuals to psychedelic stop motion, and always, they create magical stories even when faced with the most challenging of budgets. 

Recent work for The Wildlife Trust brought ‘The Wind In the Willows’ back to cinema screens with David Attenbrough narrating. The Rowdy project Directed by Matthew Day and Tom O’Meara highlighted loss of UK habitat. The animated trailer racked up a social reach of 17 million and charmed the press with 195 pieces of coverage, from BBC Radio 4 to the Mirror and ITV news. The spot includes voice acting by Stephen Fry, Catherine Tate, Assim Chaudhry and Alison Steadman. 

Childline (a co-production with Blink Ink) Directed by Catherine Prowse and in partnership with Radiohead is another amazing calling card, showing the attention to detail that Rowdy pride themselves on, and the energy that goes into crafting these unique and special pieces of work.

Rowdy has worked with the likes of Channel 4, 20th Century Fox, Greenpeace and Microsoft. Rowdy has picked up a healthy awards haul over the years and this year alone won x3 D&AD pencils x3 Clios and x2 One Club awards.
