Anchor are launching a new brand campaign to support their entire dairy portfolio under one single and emotionally rich banner of ‘Tastes Like Home.’ Devised by CHI&Partners, the campaign affectionately celebrates Anchor’s place in our kitchens, the beating hearts of our homes.
The campaign launches with a 60” on February 22nd.
Created by Jim Bolton and directed by Tom Tagholm, in his first work since the award winning ‘Meet the Superhumans’, the advert uses a rotating lighthouse camera rig mounted on the centre of the kitchen table, to capture an entire 30 years of one family’s life with one 360 degree sweep.
From this vantage point the viewer witnesses all the glorious highs, heartfelt lows, boyfriends, girlfriends, get togethers and few peculiar incidents that one single kitchen has seen over time.
Michael Gregory, the VFX Supervisor commented, "Shooting the changing scenes around the table needed a bespoke approach, and a huge part of our job is thinking creatively to find solutions for our clients. We tested the scenarios in a range of settings, and had a great time eating piles of toast! Experimenting with the combination of different camera angles and lenses, as well as the speed of the camera has helped to produce in a beautifully crafted piece."
The brand 60” will be followed by standalone 20”s for Anchor Squirty Cream and Anchor Spreadable later in 2013, and ‘Tastes Like Home’ will be supported with an OOH print campaign launching in March, and digitally at
anchordairy.co.uk.
