GCRS is a trailblazer in creative sound design, bringing an unparalleled passion for audio excellence to the most acclaimed commercials, cinematic trailers, 3D sound, immersive audio and ADR for our worldwide Advertising, Television, Film, Live Attraction and Experiential clients. GCRS is recognised as an audio company that constantly pushes the envelope of what can be achieved with sound.
To quote a longstanding and highly respected GCRS client:
“As always GCRS is in the vanguard of sound.
They never cease to amaze me how they keep re-inventing the wheel.
It has surpassed me, but they never stop.”
Sound design & mixing are highly technical skills but it’s impossible to achieve true artistry in audio without the best creators. The ones who get under the skin of the idea and bring it to life. GCRS wouldn’t exist without its people and we’re proud to house some of the most talented in the industry.
Being at the forefront of the British sound industry and spearheading audio excellence, GCRS was the first sound facility in the UK to convert fully from analogue to digital, and worked with Dolby to create the first commercial in Dolby® Atmos. As part of their commitment to immersive sound, they have developed Studio 8 into a best in class example of what can be achieved in an audio-post production sound studio. Studio 8 was not pre-designed as many studios usually are it was created for experimentation, a science laboratory for sound, covering high order ambisonics to Dolby ATMOS. With 54 Speakers complete bespoke setups can be created which allows GCRS to be one step ahead when the right brief comes in.
