In January 2015 we announced a global partnership with Unilever, the second biggest advertiser in the world, making us one of the biggest licensors of music, globally, and opening up opportunities for record labels, artists and production houses to reach new audiences.
Since Dominic Caisley, Andy Stafford and Phil Lawlor founded Big Sync Music in 2013 we are proud to have been involved in more than 1,000 campaigns for brands as diverse as LYNX, Cornetto, Magnum, Dove, SNOG frozen yoghurt and Persil as well as ASDA, RyanAir, Unicef and Samsung, working with some of the most creative agencies in the world. Magnum’s Proudly Seeking Pleasure film by LOLA Madrid, featured ‘Umbrella’ performed by Mechanical Bride, licensed by Big Sync, and won a Gold Lion at Cannes in June 2015. In November 2015 we were delighted to win a bronze LIA for Barbara Dane’s ‘I’m On My Way’ which we licensed for Samsung’s Gear Circle spot by Deep Focus.
Big Sync’s involvement has ranged from searching for and licensing the perfect track for a finished film to fully supervising the music on a campaign from its inception. We have helped produce original compositions and worked closely with all contributors. This year in the UK Big Sync has championed and worked with emerging and independent artists such as Novo Amor, as well as established artists like Ella Eyre, Rixton and Rizzle Kicks, Guns N roses, Avicci and David Guetta. Globally we’ve worked on campaigns with stars like Taylor Swift for Cornetto and Tiesto for Fruttare ice cream.

THE TEAM:
From musicians, singers, composers and DJ’s to those with years of record label and creative agency experience - all Big Sync team members are music specialists and each brings something different to what is a collaborative creative process on every brief. What they all share is a passion for music.
Big Sync team members regularly take part in industry events from panel discussions to speaking at events or joining the juries of awards programmes. In 2016 our ECD, Andy Stafford, formed part of the first ever Music Spikes awards jury. This year he joined the 2017 Music+Sound Awards sync jury and later in 2017 is set to join the sync jury at the London International Awards in Vegas.
