W+K's Susan Hoffman Named Honorary Jury President at Kinsale Shark Awards 2016
From Thursday 22nd – Saturday 24th September 2016, the picturesque town of Kinsale, 20 minutes outside of Cork, will host the 54th Kinsale Shark Awards, the 3-day international festival entirely focused on unconditional creativity.
Susan Hoffman, Global ECD of Wieden + Kennedy sits as Honorary President and Overall Jury Chair, and brings a wealth of knowledge and character to the festival.
Creative Social will also curate the Creative Speaker Programme, featuring Laura Jordan Bambach, Creative Partner of Mr President, and Mr Bingo, a charismatic illustrator whose clients include Time Magazine, The New York Times, Wired, The Tate and the BBC. Creative Social’s collaboration with Kinsale Sharks highlights the high caliber of content the festival curates.

A total of 40 judges, will sit across 9 juries. There is a truly international coterie with members from Australia, Austria, China, France, India, Italy, New Zealand, The Netherlands, UK and USA, all arriving in Kinsale on festival week to judge the entries.
This year, some product categories have been re-defined to reflect the continuously changing landscape of the Advertising Industry, so that everyone in award winning campaigns can be recognized. Further awards for writing, humour, artiste’s performance and post production colourists have been added to the Craft sections. Music & Sound Categories have also been re-shaped.
Day one, Thursday 22nd, will be Short Film and Music Video Screenings and speakers, with the award ceremony and after party in the evening. Day two, Friday 23rd, features Creative Social Speakers and Festival club. Finally day three, Saturday 24th consists of New Directors, Creative Social speakers and the evening awards ceremony finale. Two different festival passes are available, a one day pass for Thursday’s Short Film and Music Video schedule, awards ceremony and after party, and a complete 3 day pass to everything.
