Agency welcomes Head of Interactive Production, a Creative Director and two creative teams

Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam is excited to announce the extension of their interactive, creative and planning departments with the arrival of nine hires, including a new Head of Interactive Production, a Creative Director and two creative teams.

Kelsie van Deman joins as head of W+K Amsterdam Interactive Production, coming from five years at Pereira & O’Dell in San Francisco. Previously Kelsie worked as an Interactive Producer at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Both roles saw her create high-visibility interactive and integrated projects for a range of clients including Adobe, HP, Intel, Toshiba and HBO.

Creative Director Sean Condon joined the agency in July, teaming up with Creative Director Genevieve Hoey on Booking.com. A writer/creative with more than 20 years experience, Sean’s worked on a variety of brands including BMW, MINI, adidas, Nike and Heineken. The Australian native has also penned seven books and been a comedy writer on several shows in the UK and Australia, in addition to writing features and columns for newspapers and magazines around the world.

W+K Amsterdam also adds two new teams to their creative roster. French duo Sebastien Partika & Edouard Olhagaray join from Sid Lee Amsterdam and previously worked at Buzzman and BETC in Paris.

To date they’ve worked on Absolut, Air France, Peugeot, NIVEA and Yamaha, and won a number of awards along the way.

In October Szymon Rose & Daniel Schaefer will move to Amsterdam from BBH London, where they worked for six years on the global Axe and Johnnie Walker accounts, Audi, eBay and British Airways to name a few. The multi-award winning Austrian and Polish creatives teamed up in 2006 at Jung von Matt in Hamburg.

After eight years at W+K Portland, Californian native Josh Chang now joins the Amsterdam team as Integrated Communications Planner. A role that sees him focused on ensuring creative stories are being told in the right way, using the best platform possible.

Last but not least; Emma Wiseman, who spent six years at Wieden+Kennedy London and New York, rejoins the W+K family after a stint at 180 Amsterdam. She will head up planning on Booking.com. While Rose Zandvliet jumped ship after four years at DDB & Tribal Amsterdam and joined W+K as PR Manager in August.

Managing Director Clay Mills said, 'In welcoming this new talent we continue to diversify and enhance our skills, while remaining focused on developing best in class creative work'.
