Weber Shandwick UK Appoints Tess Evans as Creative Director Health

Weber Shandwick, the earned-first global communications agency, has announced the appointment of Tess Evans as its new creative director, specialising in Health. Tess will oversee all creative output across the agency’s healthcare clients, recognising the ongoing growth within the Health Practice.

After completing a screenwriting MA at London College of Communication, Tess started her career as a copywriter at advertising agency Wizzard, focusing on both consumer and health clients. She has since worked at some of the top UK health agencies, including Havas Life, Ogilvy Health, FCB Health and VCCP Health. She has produced campaigns for a wide range of clients including GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Edwards Lifesciences, Teva, Merck and Pfizer, with work that has been awarded at the PM Awards, LIAs, Clios and Cannes Lions Health.

Tess will be responsible for strengthening the agency's creative output while ensuring that originality and creativity remain integral to client work.

Based in London, she will collaborate with the healthcare team across The Weber Shandwick Collective network, reporting to CCO Yan Elliott.

Tess’ appointment adds to Weber Shandwick's efforts to bolster its creative team, following the announcement of Klein Borrill's promotion as UK head of design, along with promotions and new hires within its creative department. Additionally, the agency recently appointed Yan Elliott as chief creative officer to further elevate its creative vision and execution.
