Wake The Town Score Striking Short Film for Nadav Kander

Partizan recently approached Wake The Town to score a film for world-renowned photographer Nadav Kander. The short film was created during his latest shoot with supermodel Kristen McMenamy for Under the Influence Magazine S/S 2014. The video, filmed on set, is said to have captured the essence of the story 'Shadows'. 

WTT creative director John Connon talked about the process of creating the accompanying piece of music. "After seeing an initial cut of the film we discussed our approach with the production company and subsequently Nadav. They had a nice and clear direction of what they wanted to achieve. Briefed to create a piece of orchestral music, the movement of the models allowed us to mould our string arrangement, focussed primarily on cello, accordingly. It's great to be able work on a film when you can create something unsettling and edgy, especially when it plays such a big role in the storytelling". 

Guy Andrews, who is predominantly know for his work as Moving Dawn Orchestra and iambic, was recruited to soundtrack the film.
