Creature's youth registration and turnout campaign encourages young people to make their voices heard

The European elections are fast approaching and currently an incredible third of young people in the UK aren’t registered to vote.

Vote for Your Future, the bipartisan youth registration and turnout campaign, has launched a campaign with the help of Creature to encourage young people to make their voices heard and register to vote in time for the European elections. The campaign’s clarion call is: “Every election is determined by the people who show up”.

The campaign, which has prominent high-profile supporters including Nish Kumar, Stephen Fry, Jordan Stephens and Gary Lineker, is urging young people to get themselves on the Electoral register for the benefit of democracy.

Creature’s campaign features a bold lock up calling for young voters to ‘Give a XXXX’ and register to vote. The lock up will appear on posters, T-shirts, stickers, leaflets and on social media.

Dan Cullen-Shute, CEO of Creature said, "You've probably noticed, but there's a fair bit of politics about at the moment. At Creature, we love a bit of that: and the chance to work with an incredible organisation like ‘Vote For Your Future’ was almost too good to be true. Our ability to vote is an incredibly thing - we want to play a part in making sure as many people as possible, whatever their political leanings may be, exercise it."

Lara Spirit, co-founder of Vote For Your Future, said "We're very grateful that an agency like Creature was willing to donate their time and effort to come up with this branding. No matter what outcome you want in the European Elections, and in politics more generally, it's important that you vote. In order to vote, you have to register - by the 7th of May. One third of young people aren't on the register - while 96% of over-65s are. Every election is determined by those who show up - it's your future: vote for it!"

The campaign will run on digital OOH sites, as well as social media.
