VLM to Rep Alter Ego on the West Coast and Texas

Production representation and management company, VLM, has signed Alter Ego to its client roster.

​Alter Ego is a Toronto-based creative studio which specialises in colour, VFX, and motion design for the advertising, film and TV industries -- including virtual production work. The company launched a studio in LA in September 2023, led by partners Greg Edgar, Eric Whipp and Wade Odlum. VLM’s owner, Veronica Lombardo, is now the rep for the post house on the West Coast and in Texas.

"Colour has always been one of the crafts I’ve represented under the banner of other disciplines, never as a standalone,” said Veronica. “While Alter Ego also offers VFX and motion design, it was the chance to collaborate with award-winning colourist Eric Whipp that truly excited me. Not to mention the rest of their impressive colour roster that includes award-winning colourists Wade Odlum, Andrew Ross, Lily Henry, and their newest addition, Bree Brackett – the decision was a no-brainer.”

Alter Ego was recently ranked the number one post production company in the Immortal Awards’ Canadian rankings for 2024, and was the award show’s highest ranked post production company in North America as a whole, too.

Looking to capitalise on this momentum with VLM now onboard, Alter Ego’s executive producer in LA, Pravina Sippy, said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Veronica.
