UKCF Releases Creative Writing Panel Featuring Actor, Screenwriter, Producer and Director Simon Pegg

In the lead-up to the UK Creative Festival in Margate, September 2022, LBB and UK Creative Festival will be sharing some of the most inspiring panel discussions from the past year. 

In the sixth instalment of published talks, moderator Nils Leonard (Uncommon) is joined by Simon Pegg. Simon Pegg is most known for co-creating the cult TV show Spaced, and developing and co-writing Shaun of the Dead alongside Edgar Wright. Additionally, Simon famously stars in Star Wars, Amazon Prime’s The Boys, Star Trek, and the Mission Impossible franchise.

Simon Pegg shares why creativity can’t be forced, his experience on the set of the upcoming blockbuster film ​​Mission: Impossible 7, and how he maintains an essential work-life balance. In addition, he expands on cameras being as important of a communicator as the script itself, the difference a single frame can make when producing a film, and how the best films are made by people who can do it all.
