TikTok’s Caspar Williamson Joins Lucky Generals as Head of Design

Lucky Generals has appointed Caspar Williamson, head of design & creative innovation at TikTok, as the agency’s new head of design. 

As well as running the existing design department and being responsible for the studio's output, Caspar will begin to build on the agency’s design offering and use of creative technologies.

The move sees Caspar returning to Lucky Generals after a stint freelancing for them when the agency first launched. He now brings with him a wealth of expertise and a passion for exploring the relationship between contemporary graphic design and the digital and analogue formats. Something he is so passionate about that he has written two books on the subject. 

He joins from TikTok where he served three years as the head of design and creative innovation. Caspar led design at the Creative Lab, and as one of the founders of the department, built a highly skilled team of 17 individuals across five different countries. Prior to his role at TikTok, Caspar held key positions at creative agency B-Reel including creative lead and later as design director. His work spans award-winning omni-channel excellence across print, digital, motion, branding, event design, UX/UI and AR/VR/XR. 

Caspar, said: “Having previously freelanced for Lucky Generals during its early stages, I have watched the agency’s growth with keen interest and an admiring eye, hoping I'd be able to head back one day. So it's brilliant to be here again, this time reinvigorating Luckies’ design and production capabilities and helping drive the founders’ passion, ambition and excitement for making brilliant creative.”
