Brothers & Sisters and Caviar remix classic Nightcrawlers lyrics to celebrate the joy of selling your car

The UK’s go-to online car buying service, webuyanycar, has revealed a new TV ad featuring viral TikTok sensation Mufasa, just months after photos of the star on the shoot were leaked.

The new ad has everything it promised in late summer - high energy, vibrant colours and a catchy new song that remixes the popular Nightcrawlers 1992 hit Push The Feeling On, switching the lyrics from ‘It’s Friday then’ to ‘Just Sold My Car’. 

The campaign planning began in early 2022, with the aim to take the brand in a new direction, capturing the feelgood vibes experienced by more than three million customers who use webuyanycar.

As plans progressed, webuyanycar announced its five-year contract with This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield had come to an end in September, as the brand looked to introduce a new lease of life into its marketing and advertising.

A webuyanycar spokesperson said, “Our new ad campaign is fun, exciting and something completely different that we hope will bring joy and put a smile on people’s faces. While Mufasa is featuring in our launch ads, we’re no longer having a celebrity ambassador represent the brand, instead shining a light on ordinary people with a zest for life. Our new ads are all about celebrating that feel good moment when you sell your car with ease – we can’t wait to reveal more later this year.”
