Mobile provider Three is helping to spread the spirit of silly to its customers with its latest push to make 0800 numbers free on 24 month plans. To celebrate the weirder reaches of the telephonic landscape, Wieden + Kennedy London has devised a raft of time-wasting 0800 numbers that Three users can enjoy to their heart’s content.
The campaign pushes off with a choral masterpiece directed by Gorgeous’ Chris Palmer. ‘Random Word’ showcases the ‘Singing Dictionary’ phone line in which users can hear any word in the dictionary belted out by an 80-strong choir. The spot sees the ensemble enjoying the acoustics of an underground lakeside.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Procrastinators can also enjoy a range of new 0800 numbers including: The Lullaby Line, the Sympathy Service, the Time Wasting Line, the Nicknaming Service and the 24hr Compliment Line. Each line comes with its own colourful animation courtesy of BlinkInk’s Layzell Bros.
The new spot follows the recent #SingItKitty campaign and of course last year’s Dancing Pony – all of which embrace the power of sharing silly stuff.
