Yachak Yerba Mate Energy Tea has launched the Reforestation Collection, a Shutterstock image library that funds reforestation in the Amazon with every purchase.
The gallery features over 300 photos from photographer Chris Poplawski, who was the winner of Yackak’s Amazon Assignment last summer. Yachak sent Chris deep into the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil this past November where he spent 2.5 weeks documenting the reforestation work of Yachak's non-profit partner, One Tree Planted. In that time, he has amassed thousands of powerful images that depict the current state of the Amazon rainforest.
Now, those images have been expertly compiled in The Reforestation Collection on Shutterstock, where any business or individual can download for their use. Yachak’s proceeds from the licensing fees will support reforestation efforts in the Amazon, led by One Tree Planted. There are 8,410 stock images of the Amazon Rainforest, but only 393 images of Amazon deforestation. With this collection, Yachak aims to bring greater visibility to what’s happening in the Amazon, where the brand organically sources all of its ingredients.
Yachak worked with its creative agency Edelman to dream up this collection and its launch.
