People say the older we get the narrower the road becomes, and with that the choices we make and opportunities we may get become fewer and far between. We need moments to meditate and take stock.
With this in mind The Rig Out has launched a film for Saucony Originals about the choices we make and finding the space to recognise them. That moment in your run when you glimpse the path before you and understand that what you do today will define your tomorrow. It's about realising your dreams and seeing their potential, about aspiring for more and finding the momentum to take you there.
The film, entitled 'Hope and Road' begins in London before transporting viewers to the desert, a natural place of solitude; beautiful and serene, the environment mirrors the consciousness of the runner in flow. We then crash back to the city with long-sought answers and a renewed vision.
It is the first calling shot of an ongoing dialogue between Saucony and The Rig Out, which will explore the brand’s running heritage and place in the cultural imagination. It was directed by Glenn Kitson and Ed Hubert was the DOP.
The project is part of the ongoing #runyourworld Saucony category and features a mixture of Jazz Original Vintage and DNX Vintage from Saucony Original's late 2017 range.
Saucony has been making running shoes for over a hundred years and continues to develop new running and athletic technology. The Originals range is a recognition of former silhouettes with updated materials and better fabrics.
