The Leith Agency's charming tune to tackle bowel cancer
The Leith Agency has just launched The Poo Song, a charming ditty encouraging younger folks to tell older folks to do a bowel cancer test.
It was commissioned by the Scottish Government as part of a wider drive to detect cancer early in Scotland. Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in the country, but when detected at an early stage it's highly treatable - nine out of ten people survive if it's caught early.
The song features Bill Torrance, from TV show The Beechgrove Garden, accompanied by Neil Pennycook, from Edinburgh band Meursault. It's available for download on Soundcloud.
