Brand consultancy The Partners has appointed Jason Hartley as Chief Strategy Officer. Jason brings a wealth of brand and agency experience to the position and will be responsible for spearheading The Partners strategic offering across The Partners’ London, New York and Singapore offices.
Jason possesses expertise from all sectors of the brand and communications industries including his work with HSBC, Unilever, Vodafone, adidas, Philips, Mattel and Heineken to name a few.
He has recently relocated back to London after 15 years in Amsterdam, where he co-founded Razorfish in 1998, created Amsterdam’s first media neutral agency in 2005, has been involved in creating the worlds first global social media agency for Omnicom/adidas in 2008 and was also Brand Strategy Director at Design Bridge’s office in Amsterdam. He latterly took time out to become an award winning chef and restaurateur.
Jim Prior, Chief Executive, The Partners, said: “The brand consulting and design world is ripe for reinvention right now and Jason has the ideas, energy and intellect to make that happen. In making this hire I wasn’t interested in finding someone with a generic, conservative approach; Jason’s diverse experience and progressive points of view are exactly what clients want and need right now.”
“Despite a grounding in digital I have always been brand led and somewhat bemused by channels leading ideas,” Hartley explains.
"I am fascinated by how the evolution of digital media has impacted people’s sociological behaviour towards each other and towards brands. This is an irresistible opportunity to combine my background and original view of the future with an organisation established in the heritage and at the forefront of brand and design. I can’t wait to work with The Partners team and create an evolved proposition that brings all of these factors to life for our clients and the wider world"
