The Mayda Creative Co. has announced that Lisha Tan has joined its director collective for global representation. Known for her imaginative storytelling and visually rich animation, Lisha expands Mayda’s growing roster of creative talent.
A multi award-winning director, Lisha is celebrated for her distinctive blend of illustration, traditional animation techniques, and digital artistry. Her work spans music videos, gaming campaigns, and brand storytelling, often centred around emotionally resonant, character-driven narratives.
She has earned recognition from The GRAMMYs, D&AD, Ciclope, and LIA, and was recently named one of Variety’s Top 10 Animators to Watch in 2024. Her portfolio includes standout projects for Riot Games, Respawn Entertainment, and JAY-Z, including The Story of O.J., the two-time Grand Prix-winning music video. She has directed eight Apex Legends season campaigns and Dua Lipa’s Hallucinate, with her work collectively garnering more than 100 million views.
On joining Mayda, Lisha comments "I wanted to create with friends and like-minded thinkers, people who thrive on collaboration and pushing creative boundaries. There’s a magic in blending traditional techniques with technology. It opens up new ways to tell stories and build worlds, which is what excites me most."
