29 projects make it through to the final round of judging as global jury revealed
The shortlist for the Immortal Awards 2020 has been announced today, ahead of the final round of judging on Friday 20th November.

In total, 29 projects from around the world make this year’s shortlist. Each project received Finalist status from its respective regional jury, with regional competitions for each of North America, LATAM, Europe, MEA and Asia Pacific introduced to the Immortal Awards this year for the first time ever.

A hand-picked jury, composed of jurors from each regional jury, will discuss, debate and deliberate over the shortlist on Friday to decide which projects, if any, will receive Immortal and Commendation status this year.

Entries into this year’s awards were up 50%, with work being submitted from 52 countries. The global shortlist has work from 11 countries. The seven Finalists from each of the North America, LATAM and MEA competitions are joined on the global list by the four Finalists from each of the Europe and Asia Paficic competitions.

Founder of Little Black Book, Matt Cooper comments: “Whilst many have suggested that there’ll be a lack of great work this year, we have seen in all regions that there has been some truly spectacular work and we’re very glad that we put the effort in to keep going this year. The smiles we have seen from the jury rooms have been phenomenal and the passion put into judging has been amazing. What we also love is the fact that the jury now very clearly understands what they are judging. There is no bronze, silver or gold.  Immortal means Immortal.

Awards Director, Paul Monan, says: “Congratulations to every company and project that has made it this far. The five regional juries were incredibly tough, so to make the shortlist is a huge achievement in itself. In what has been a strange year for all, we’re delighted to be able to shine a spotlight on the very best creative work from all over the world. The standards set in our first couple of years have not dropped at all this year, so we're super excited to see which projects - if any - will be ending 2020 with a Commendation or an Immortal Award.”
