The Immortal Awards rounded off its country based European jury sessions in Germany, with five projects receiving Finalist status following the German jury day held in partnership with Zauberberg Productions.
The third shortlist of the year saw the 17 highest-scoring projects from the initial online round of judging make it through to the in-person day, which was judged by a dedicated German jury on Wednesday 12th October.
Having introduced the German jury to the Immortals last year, it was the first time that day was held in person with the jury’s job to decide which projects, if any, were to qualify for the regional European round of judging as German Finalists.
Following an afternoon of diligent debate, five projects were given the nod to qualify for the European round of judging as Finalists, representing German advertising on the regional stage.
The Immortal Awards 2022 German Finalists are:
Eltern - Motherlove (submitted by GGH MullenLowe)
Flutwein - Our Worst Vintage (submitted by White Rabbit Budapest)
PENNY - The Wish (submitted by SERVICEPLAN GERMANY)
Samsung - The Spider And The Window (submitted by Leo Burnett Germany, Zauberberg Productions and The Mill Berlin)

The five projects joined the Finalists from the UK and Irish jury days, alongside the highest scoring work from the rest of the region, at the European round of judging on Friday 14th October. The European Finalists will be revealed later in the week.
The best work from Europe will then qualify for the final, global round of judging which will take place on December 1st and see the Finalists from every region compete for an Immortal Award or Commendation status.
