The Immortal Awards has today launched its call for entries for 2025’s competition. The entry system is now open to all Little Black Book members, who can make their submissions here until the final deadline on Friday 5th September 2025.
The Immortal Awards is the global advertising awards from Little Black Book and entry into the competition is free for all members. Standard and Premium members are able to submit up to five projects into the show, whilst Basic members are able to submit two projects.
Last year, just four projects were deemed Immortal by the global jury, with a further 11 receiving coveted Commendations. The 15 winning projects have been showcased around the world throughout the first few months of 2025 as part of The Immortal Awards Showcase tour.
It was a momentous year for both Australia and New Zealand, with both countries being awarded an Immortal for the first time. Colenso BBDO and Nexus Studios picked up an Immortal for Pedigree 'Adoptable', whilst Sydney Opera House’s 'Play It Safe' earned Immortal for The Monkeys, Trim, ARC, Somesuch and Revolver.
Canadian independent agency Rethink earned an unprecedented 'double-double', picking up an Immortal for Coors Light’s 'Coors Light's Out' and a Commendation for Kraft Heinz’s 'Heinz Ketchup & Seemingly Ranch'.
Ogilvy North America and Lobo collected the final Immortal last year for Coca-Cola’s Recycle Me.
Paul Monan, head of creative excellence at Little Black Book, says, “Following another stellar year of competition, we’re delighted to be back again for 2025 and can’t wait to get going. The show is going from strength to strength and it’s an honour to be showing best-in-class creativity to the world. I must take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible supporters and partners who make this all happen. Their continued support allows us to keep entries free and makes judging in person and hosting all of our events possible.”
Matt Cooper, CEO of Little Black Book, adds, “Our juries have consistently set the highest bar when it comes to benchmarking creativity and, having sat in many jury rooms over the years, I can confidently say that our conversations are some of the toughest around. The Immortals has quickly become a key show in the global awards calendar and is truly about celebrating just the best - with no entrance fees for our members, confusing categories or time-consuming submission forms.”
Entries into The Immortal Awards will be judged by creative leaders from across the brand, agency and craft worlds. Work will first be judged locally by a country-based jury, with the best work qualifying for its respective regional competition. A series of regional jury days - North America, LATAM, Europe, MEA, Asia and ANZ - will then determine which projects receive Finalist status and qualify for the final, global round of judging.
A global grand jury, composed of jurors from each regional jury, will ultimately decide which projects – if any – will receive an Immortal Award or a Commendation in December 2025. The winners will be announced in January 2026.
Entries into The Immortal Awards will be accepted until September 5th 2025. All entries must be made for a commissioning client, and must have first aired, broadcast, displayed, launched or published between 1st September 2024 and 31st August 2025.
Every member of LBB can enter The Immortal Awards for free as part of their membership Standard and Premium members can submit up to five projects, whilst Basic members are able to submit up to two. The full list of rules, including eligibility dates, can be found here.
