The Creative Circle Awards celebrate work and talent from across the UK creative industries. Continuing to support the next generation of creative talent, the 2023 New Creator Talent Awards were free to enter, supported by headline sponsor Saatchi & Saatchi UK. This year, these talent awards will have their own designated ceremony held at lunchtime on Thursday the 13th at the Dodgems Stage and presented by influencer Shola West. Each finalist and winner will be taking home an award this year, designed by Henry Holland.
The main awards ceremony will once again close the UK Creative Festival, which takes place over a two-day event on the 12th and 13th July. Celebrating the best of UK creativity against the backdrop of sunshine, sea and creative wisdom, this year’s event features a stellar line up of speakers, including Margate local, Tracey Emin CBE RA.
The UK Creative Festival is committed to removing barriers faced by young people when trying to enter the creative industries, striving to make the workforce more inclusive and representative of the UK population. The free-to-access careers fair is open to young aspiring creatives wanting to discover their pathway to a creative career by introducing them to a broad range of creative career opportunities.
The Creative Circle pledges 10% of all entry fees and 100% of membership fees to support strengthening diversity in the industry, with money raised going directly to the UK Creative Foundation charity.
Jeremy Green, managing director of the Creative Circle and Founder of UKCF, comments, "Following another brilliant year of in-person judging panels, I’m thrilled to be bringing the creative community together once again to celebrate the nation’s unparalleled creativity. The standard of work this year is so impressive, and I can’t wait to see it get the recognition it deserves at the Creative Circle Awards ceremony.”
