TBWA\India is proving its mettle with the award-winning ‘Immigration Stamps Calendar’ for Yatra.com, India’s leading online travel enterprise.

In the 2011 ‘Design/Agency’ Pencil Rankings, reflecting winners from the One Show, TBWA\India ranks #8 in the world – the only Indian agency to break into the Top 30 in the category.

In the ‘Agency’ Pencil Rankings, TBWA\India sits at #61 globally, with only one other Indian agency in the Top 100. It’s a huge accolade for TBWA\India; one which the creative team is extremely proud of.

The ‘Immigration Stamps Calendar’ work has already won two Silver awards at One Show, in the categories of ‘Collateral Design – Promotion’ and ‘Direct Mail – Single’.

Background: Yatra.com provides everything from travel information and pricing availability, to booking facilities for domestic and international travel. The site offers a host of travel services designed to make business and leisure travel easy.

The brief was simple: make 2011 a year when people lock up their houses and head out. The challenge was to remind people on a daily basis that there are still places on earth that they haven’t seen, explored and enjoyed.

The solution: TBWA decided to give Yatra.com a new approach – travel not for a week or a month, but for the whole year, with a beautifully designed calendar of 365 immigration stamps to inspire people to pack their bags and see the world, every day. The message was: for the next 365 days, go out and explore the places that most people hadn’t heard of.
