Taco Bell's New Ads Remind Us Why We Love Bacon So Damn Much

Bacon’s popularity has created a monster of sorts, with an entire industry dedicated to the creation of bacon-themed products. So, Taco Bell & Deutsch are playfully reminding people why they love it – because it’s delicious to EAT, especially in the new Bacon Club Chalupa.

In the TV, a hero character rides an escalator through a surreal bacon-products-gone-crazy world before a VO informs us “Bacon You Can’t Eat is Bacon You Don’t Need.” The spot includes an awesome remake of Tears For Fears’ track “Mad World.”

In 10 social/online videos (shot separately from the TV), Deutsch created entertaining faux bacon product videos that are interrupted with the  same line.
