Studio Space Secured by LS Productions as Manchester Expansion Continues

The deal will see LS Productions hold priority access to two state-of-the-art studios at the ICON studios complex for use by their production clients. Perfectly situated close to Manchester airport and within 30-minutes of both Manchester United and Manchester City football clubs, the studios are already being put to good use with global clients, including shooting with local A-list football talent.

Sarah Drummond, executive producer and managing director explained the rationale behind the deal: “LS are well known for our location-based shoots, because we do them brilliantly. Last year over 50% of our shoots were managed out of our Manchester office and took place in the North of England, so a studio here really was a no-brainer, it’s a natural next step and supports our UK-wide growth ambitions.”

The studio deal coincides with an office move to the ABC Building and a raft of new appointments including fashion experts, Clare Murtaugh and Chrissy Hurst and new industry entrants Maria Negoescu and Nico Walker. Commenting on the team’s growth Abi Atkinson, Manchester senior producer shared “we’re seeing a real boom in our key areas of fashion and sports commercials, so it’s great to build up our in-house production team to deliver to the exacting standards that LS are known for”.
