Stereo Creative has promoted Arthur Perez to managing director and head of strategy, evolving his previous role as head of strategy and operations. It’s not a typical combo, but Arthur’s never been one for typical. He’s long pushed for more interconnected thinking inside agencies, seeing strategy, operations, and culture not as silos, but as synchronised systems that need tuning, alignment, and sometimes a little provocation. “I believe the role of a managing director is to set expectations, empower and care for people,” said Arthur.
His promotion comes at a defining moment for Stereo, a creative force in London for 18 years, now thriving stateside with the launch of a San Francisco office. Stereo Creative founder Steve Bell noted, “Stereo’s always been about culture, creativity, and doing things differently, and Arthur lives that every day. He’s a natural builder with a head for business and a heart for understanding how brands exist within culture.”
Before joining Stereo, Arthur was head of brand marketing at Depop and has helped shape the perception of brands like Google, The Co-op, Peugeot, and Starbucks. Outside the ad world, he’s a long time esports enthusiast, a former competitive paintballer (yes, really), and founder of The Village, a non-profit organisation that is building grassroots resilience to climate change.
