Squeak E. Clean Studios marks a step forward in sonic exploration with the launch of its new original track and music video 'Hello Tomorrow Rebirth.'
After the chart-topping release of Squeak E. Clean Productions’ original track for the iconic Adidas 'Hello Tomorrow' spot in 2005, the now global music and sound powerhouse is revisiting and re-releasing the award-winning song in celebration of its recent merger with Nylon Studios.
The re-recorded track, a creative collaboration between the six studios led by ECD and partner, Sam Spiegel, infuses the original with a fresh, energised drive embodying the newly-combined company’s passion for creating innovative, culture-defining music and sound.
The original was first featured in Spike Jonze’s iconic 'Hello Tomorrow' spot for Adidas feat. Karen O, for which Squeak E. Clean Productions earned the first-ever Cannes Lions for Original Music. Along with the track, Squeak E. Clean Studios is releasing an accompanying music video showcasing its vibrant team of artists and producers in its six studios across four time zones.
The music video is inspired by humankind’s curiosity for exploring the unknown, drawing an allegorical narrative using archival NASA footage amongst the people, studios and culture of Squeak E. Clean Studios.
The piece is a true depiction of the pioneering venture for the global studio and the vibrant, humanistic spirit that fuels the company, in any space or time.
The release comes on the heels of the recent launch of Squeak E. Clean Studios -- the result of a merger between Squeak E. Clean Productions and Nylon Studios -- creating a culturally-driven global music and sound company across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Sydney and Melbourne.
