ClearView Rush: Nearing Launch with Key Milestones Met

Sohonet’s highly anticipated dailies review tool ClearView Rush will transform how studios and production companies manage their review process. At IBC, Sohonet will showcase its refined review workflow experience for studio teams. Featuring direct integration with Light Iron's Galixy platform for efficient delivery of dailies, a content specific timeline viewer, automated sharing workflows, and studio-grade security features from day one, it represents a new generation of workflow tools for modern studios. ClearView Rush is set to enter a limited beta in Q4 2024, with a wider rollout planned for Q1 2025.

ClearView Flex: Enhanced Collaboration for Editorial Teams

Sohonet has further enhanced their remote review tool ClearView Flex to better support editorial teams. Session Types give editors access to integrated video conferencing in editorial review sessions further bridging the gap between remote and in-house teams. Meanwhile, other teams can continue working as is and can opt in to additional Session Types as they are added for other workflows. Additionally, improved NDI Audio compatibility with Avid Media Composer ensures reviewers are hearing things exactly as intended when using network based or virtual workflows. To better support teams with short-term or fluctuating needs, Sohonet has expanded its Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) options across all tiers, using physical or virtual Flexbox (vFlex) appliances, offering more accessible pricing options.

FileRunner: Accelerates Downloads, Improves Uploads and Enhanced Customisation

Sohonet's file transfer app, FileRunner continues to optimise media transfer workflows with its latest performance enhancements. The platform now supports accelerated downloading and automatic de-tarring of packages, streamlining the delivery process and reducing the time required to manage large media files. Enhanced uploading performance also ensures smooth and efficient transfer of even the largest files. Additionally, organisations will soon be able to customise their file transfer experience with branded projects, while project branded automated email notifications keep teams informed of transfer statuses.

Core: Redesigned UI and Advanced Search Capabilities

Sohonet’s production asset management platform Core is developing a redesigned interface for iPad and AppleTV, offering a more intuitive user experience. Core’s search capabilities will soon be enhanced with advanced visual search features for locating visually similar media. The platform is also advancing its research and development into automated metadata and AI tagging, reinventing media search technology while maintaining strict IP guidelines for major studio asset repositories.
