Volkswagen Group car marque ŠKODA today opens the door on a festive CRM and social campaign which sees its all-new, fully electric ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS transformed into an interactive, play-along advent calendar.
Calendar Car, devised by customer engagement agency Havas CX, offers players the chance to win daily prizes, ranging from roof boxes and bikes to exclusive event tickets, all hidden inside the car – playfully highlighting its abundance of innovative storage spaces. Like any good advent calendar, it culminates with a special ‘grand prize’ behind door #24 on Christmas Eve.
Calendar Car taps into ŠKODA’s pioneering ‘Live Tour’ virtual showroom, which allows customers to experience a guided tour of a ŠKODA model of their choice from one of our experts. Once they’ve been shown around a special Christmas-themed ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS, players then have three attempts to guess where within the car that day’s prize is hidden.
The festive campaign, which follows last year’s #ŠkodaSpruceScale (also from Havas CX), aims to drive users to ŠKODA’s Live Tour, hero the brand’s reputation for bountiful storage space, promote the new ŠKODA ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS as it arrives in showrooms from December, and, of course, simply spread a bit of festive joy. It will be promoted via social, CRM and retailers.
Lowri Woodcock, CRM manager at ŠKODA says, “Our all-new ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS doesn’t just come with all the exciting features you’d expect from ŠKODA – like our largest ever panoramic glass roof, edgy good looks, lots of clever storage and a range of up to 323 miles – it now comes with lots of extra special festive surprises. But first, you’ll have to find them. Book a Live Tour of the car and take a good look – you could come away with much more than you think.”
Libby Clay, art director at Havas CX says, “Who says an SUV can only have five doors – in Calendar Car, we’ve managed to cram in 24, each hiding a special festive treat. This is a fun campaign that’s bang on brand for ŠKODA, simultaneously highlighting its renowned smart storage and pioneering, one-on-one Live Tour functionality. Good luck everyone!”
